Wow! What a bone-breaking act. I wish I could do that. He’s so amazing. In Youtube alone, you could find lots of performances in all different aspects. You could find people who just simply want to display their talents, and there are those who want to be known and be discovered. Dancing, for one, is one the most uploaded performance on the internet. Some people upload normal videos of what they did for no special reason at all. But there are some who really have exemplary talents that need to be given a second look and appreciation.
The 21-year-old Alonzo Jones or Turf as what he wants to be called is a hip-hop contortionist dancer from San Francisco, California. The talented kid displays a one-of-a-kind talent that only a few people can have. Turf made his living out of doing street performances while passers-by put money on his donation hat. He’s so cool. He made a living out of it alone. He was just a homeless person, but managed to rent his own apartment just from doing what he loves to do.
Turf’s performance is a bit different from just pure robotic dancing that we usually see on the street and in theme parks. Robotic dancers just do a kind of break dancing that is a bit different with what Turf does. He’s not only doing a robotic dancing, but contortionism at the same time, incorporating both routines in his performances making it much more interesting.
His passion for dancing soon developed as he practiced everyday getting his inspiration from the movie “You Got Served.” Since then, he developed an enthusiasm on a different dance style mixed with contortionism as he found out that he could do the same thing.
Being just a high school graduate, he dreamed of getting into a new level in life with his passion. This created a bit of disagreement with his mother because his mother wanted him to focus on his future. In effect, Turf went away from home and lived on the streets for two years bearing that same burning desire to pursue his passion and prove to everybody that he could do it. He first tried his amazing talent by performing on the street to earn something for his food and other needs.
He soon heard that there would be auditions for America’s Got Talent in his vicinity, he hurriedly signed up and got accepted to go for the next level. One of the judges even said that it was his first time to see that kind of stuff. It’s something new. He added that Turf was a true original and he’s one of the people that they’re looking for. Turf couldn’t help but cry as soon as he heard the audience cheering and applauding for his wonderful performance. He never thought that the crowd and even the judges would love it. He instantly got a lot of fans upon seeing his amazing performance. His life story gets to inspire viewers to pursue their dreams no matter what because it’s possible. Turf now does his passion at Las Vegas where he performs for a living.
