When we’re in a shopping mall, we are supposed to unwind, enjoy, and pamper ourselves by buying the things that we want for us and for our family. The place perhaps, is a place of happiness. But hearing a death case inside a shopping mall is odd, especially when it happened in an escalator in just a short span of time.
In China, a 30 year old mom was riding the escalator holding his two year old son. When she’s about to take off, the floor metal unbolted itself. The machine’s power is too strong that it pulled down the mother and crushed her to death. The mother was able to save her son for she pushed it right away the moment she sensed that something is wrong.
According to the report, the construction workers have failed to properly screw the floor metal. It took them almost four hours to find and get the body's remains. Investigations and actions regarding the case are now on the hands of Chinese authorities.
