During the APEC week, a lot of our fellowmen experienced delays and heavy traffic due to closed roads to make way for the guests. Kris Aquino posted a picture on her instagram about the "sunburn" she had because of APEC and calls it

APEC week caused a week long
vacation for some (especially students) but it is still a normal day for our workers and everyday commuters.
Even celebrities experienced the effect of the APEC week whereas the heavy traffic jam even became worse because of the needed rerouting. A lot of citizens and of course our commuters and drivers cannot help but bare with the nuisance that the event has brought.
Kris Aquino, a well known celebrity host is the one who took the Mexican President
Enrique Peña Nieto for a tour in Luneta Park during the afternoon.
Seen on her instagram is a post about her
sunburn in which she claimed to earn because of the long sunny day tour for the Mexican President.

The photo was shot by Bimby and she added to her post that she is even made fun of because of it and calls it
quits with all of whom experienced the trouble of APEC. Although not confirmed if it was a joke or a serious quote, her statement surely caught the attention of people.

Cesar Apolinario posted his honest reaction about Kris Aquino's sunburn for doing her APEC
responsibilities.

He states that he does hope that it was a joke and will just give Kris the benefit of the doubt (DAW as he said) since her opinion does matter as a public figure and presidential sister but that also makes her owe the people politically, socially and spiritually and that she should pose as a role model for us all. Her statement on her instagram makes him question about her idea of Filipino's everyday lives.
