“Felix Manalo” is a self-titled movie that tells the life
story of the first executive minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo. Led by Kapuso
Actor Dennis Trillo, the movie had just made its way to world history after successively
setting two Guinness World Records namely: Largest Attendance for a Film and
Largest Attendance for a Film premiere.

The number of people who have supported and watched the film mounted
to 43, 624. The world record announcement was released by the Guinness Book of
World Records’ officials Marco Frigatti and Victoria Tweedy.
Dennis Trillo, who portrayed the role of Felix Manalo is indeed honored and happy that he has been part of the record-breaking movie. According to him the movie itself has bonded the whole INC family and the number of people who have supported him and the show is truly overwhelming.

“Napakaraming
magagandang nangyayari na hindi normal na nangyayari, so feeling ko, nasa
panaginip ako. Na nagkaisa ‘yung mga kapatid (sa INC), ‘yung mga Pilipino na
magtipun-tipon dito hanggang ma-reach ‘yung goal, na sa awa ng Diyos,
naka-break ng two records,” said the actor after the premiere night.
He also
admitted that he had cried many times while watching Felix Manalo’s story. For him,
the most striking part is the death scene.
“Ibang klase yon. Kahit ako yung pinapanood ko, tinamaan pa
rin ako do’n,” he shared.
He’s also thankful to the whole cast of the movie most especially
to Director Joey Lamangan.
He humbly stated, “Hindi ko naman yon magagawa ng ako lang.
Siyempre, dahil din yun sa tulong ni Direk Joel (Lamangan) at sa lahat ng bumubuo
ng pelikula.”
Aside from Dennis, the movie also includes stars such as Bella Padilla, Snooky Serna, Jaclyn Jose, Ejay Falcon, Gabby Concepcion and many other artists. The movie is still showing in all the cinemas nationwide.
