Have you witnessed Maine Mendoza's first exposure as Yaya Dub? Do you know how it all started? No? Well keep reading.
July 4, 2015, Eat Bulaga held their "EB Problem Solving" at Brgy. San Juan, Cainta, Rizal. The usual hosts of the event, Paulo Ballesteros and Jose Manalo were in for a surprise (well at least they seemed like so). A special and unexpected guest has arrived in a limo as they were to open the gates to start the segment. Out of the white limo, came a girl that wore her attire as a personal assistant.
Maine Mendoza went out of the limo while wearing a pink apron and carrying a pink bag as well and she helped out a woman. well, not really a woman biologically, Wally Bayola in his perfect outfit as Donya Nidora Esperanza Zobeyala Byuda de Explorer (what a mouthful right? I don't know about the spelling but that's clearly what I heard). After saying his (or her more likely) intentions with staying, Jose became curious about the person that has been following him.
Maine's appearance didn't really shock or surprised the viewers nor the live audiences at the studio and also at the barangay because their main focus was on Wally's sassy and sophisticated look.
As the camera focuses on Maine Mendoza, she clearly hasn't said anything at all and refuses to speak. Donya Nidora actually said that it was her following the rule whereas it says that we shouldn't talk to strangers. Finally, she has been introduced as Divina Ursula Bokbokkava (sounds like some kind of a funny russian name. and it's quite a mouthful too if you ask me) or otherwise known as Yaya D.U.B..
The segment continued while Yaya Dub and Donya Nidora accompanying Paulo and Jose. Yaya Dub also did a few samples of dubsmash and that unique funny atmosphere that she could bring.
There wasn't much that was shown that could've brought that sudden spotlight for our beloved Yaya Dub. The segment continued smoothly with their assistance. As for our love team #AlDub, it hasn't been formed yet! Her first day as Yaya Dub is clearly one of the stepping stones as she carefully makes her way to her wonderful destination alongside with her ever loving, loyal fans.
