Who would have thought that a simple food service crew from a fast food chain can be one of the brilliant lawyers in our country?
Well, now, everybody thinks that this is undoubtedly possible after Howard Chan successfully proved it and made his way to his dreams. Chan from Baguio City needed to work harder to support his financial needs in his studies. Studying and working is a hard thing especially when you are a law student who needs to exert more focus on the different lessons and cases being thrown upon you. But because of his combined hardwork, determination and perseverance, he survived the 8 years of living that way and successfully had his march claiming his finished degree. Plus the fact that he passed the board exam for lawyers is truly amazing.
He himself, until now cannot believe that he had done this remarkable lifetime achievement. Now that he’s an official lawyer he wanted to give back by helping others. He plans to focus on the issue of contractualization and give the workers the rights they deserve.
