Chef Virgelio Jun Celis Jr. or commonly known as “Chef Reinhard Celis” is the down-to-earth owner of Virgelio’s Grill chain of restaurants serving not only in local areas but also to many international hotels and restaurants. Chef Celis is known to be rich but very humble and simple that he sometimes stroll wearing only his trademark plain t-shirt, shorts and slippers.
He decided one day to buy a new pickup truck in an Isuzu Company in Bacolod. But sad to say, because of his plain and common attire the staffs and car dealers of the company didn’t entertained him nicely. According to his facebook post, they only entertained the man with the good attire, and when it comes to him he has been ignored and passed to others and when he inquired at the front desk about the DMAX 4x4 she just gave a non-sense answer. They even let him wait for more than five minutes and when he can’t endure it anymore he asked the guard about why they only entertain people who are well dressed. According to him the guard just replied with a smile.
He reached home with so much disappointment and just called his bank to order a new Mitsubishi Strada pickup truck that immediately arrived after two hours. Chef Celis also gave his social media followers a meaningful advice saying “Don’t ever judge your neighbor; they can look after your house while you are not around.”
