;
In an article written in Kicker Daily News, it is reported that the Court of Appeals had already made its final decision with regards to Willie Revillame’s case, a renowned television show host who had been facing charges of child abuse since 2013. The court’s official order is to release a warrant of arrest for the host. The case occurred two years ago when an episode of the host banged into controversy.

 Revillame, whom at that time works under the Kapatid network, had a six year old boy contestant who perfomed a “macho dance” as his talent piece. The host asked the child to repeat the dance wherein the child would get a 10,000 cash in return. Revillame was seen to be laughing and saying the words “beer pa, beer pa” while the child is dancing with an almost weeping face.

Due to this matter, The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) filed a case against the host explicating that they have received a lot of complaints coming from different television viewers who have viewed the controversial episode. Judge Roberto Buenaventura of the Regional Trial Court had released an order to arrest the host but Revillame in his defense filed a motion for consideration which was unfortunately denied by the court.

Revillame’s case was sent to higher level of excavating and now the Court of Appeals had finally made their order to arrest the host. Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ma. Luisa Quijano-Padilla stated that Buenaventura had cleverly pointed out the probable cause on the criminal offense and the issuance of warrant of arrest was keenly decided.
