Sacs of Tapeworm Eggs are Found in a Woman’s Brain! Find Out How it Happened

;
Tapeworms are flatworms that live in a host’s digestive tract. They can easily access your body once you eat or drink something that’s infected by the worm itself or by its eggs.
In Texas a 31 year old woman known as Yadira Rosto suffered from a terrifying infection. At first, she thought that it was just a simple headache but as it reached its nine months she began to suspect that something strange is going on.
In a WCNC report, she stated that sometimes her sight is impaired and she cannot clearly see the things around her. Afterwards, she found out that the cause of her pain is not just strange, but indeed scary. Sacs of tapeworm eggs are found in her brain. An operation was immediately held and they were able to get the 8 tapeworm eggs out of her.
Neurosurgeon Richard Meyrat formulated that she got the tapeworm on a trip to Mexico by eating a contaminated food with fecal matter two years ago.
Usually, these parasites leave their eggs in their host’s digestive tracts and will be excreted after few days, but unfortunately in the case of Yadira, the eggs were able to pass the bloodstream and have been brought to her brain where the eggs had fed on her blood supply.
Also, According to Dr. Meyrat, these tapeworm eggs looked like an ordinary egg with a clear sac but inside of it is actually a small tapeworm.

Fortunately, Yadira has gone to full recovery. Even though she agreed to cover the story for scientific purposes, she refused to the see the picture of the tiny yet horrifying parasite that for once in her life become a resident inside her brain for nine months.
