A Woman Marries Her Dead Fiancé

 “Love I promise you, it won’t change. You’re the only one I will ever love, even if you went away and I am hurt. Expect it won’t fade.” 

A piece of a very well-known Filipino love song bore heartfelt words, meant with every letter by a woman who has lost her beloved fiancée. They were the first words in the most heart breaking good bye message to a loved one who has crossed over.

The woman, Tel Madrona Talusan bid a farewell message to the love of her life, known as Rumpel whom had passed away and left Tel, grieving and missing. She had married Rumpel while he was in his casket, to prove her truest of love for him. 

“My love, it may not be like it would in church, there may be no papers to prove the agreement, I know that in the eyes of God that you and I are as one. There may not be enough time given to us to prove how much we love each other, everyone around us knows how true and pure what we had is; to a great extent, no less Wait for meat the place where we won’t experience anything but happiness, we will be together when the right time comes and we will never be apart. I will never tire of loving you each and every day even if you’re not by my side, let people say I am crazy for loving you, I don’t care because I know in the deepest heart of mine that you and my love and my happiness. Thank you so much for all your love and sacrifice for us, my love. I will forever keep it inside my heart and mind, with every memory you have left me, will never be erased, changed. You may have been taken away from me too soon by God, I am sure you will be back to me when the time is right. I love you so much more than the words “so much”. Until we meet again, my love, we will get married again in front of God. Thank you so much, my Rumpel. You’re the only one I will ever love to a great excess, apart from your child, I will double my love for him like you do. Rest in peace my love.” 



 Tel posted the beautiful farewell message on the 25th of September and received numerous love, care, even from those she did not know, wished her hope and faith to fight for their love and to stay strong. May Rumpel rest in peace and God give strength to Tel for her to conquer life with Rumpel watching over her and his child.
